Naomi is currently working at Oak Park’s Center Director, and has been with Pillsbury since 2016. In her time with Pillsbury, Naomi has largely focused on Oak Park’s role within North Minneapolis, particularly around health. Oak Park plays a significant role in supporting the residents in North Minneapolis improve their health, manage chronic disease, access nutritious foods, and address the social determinants of health through youth programing, employment and training, and parent services. Naomi has her Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Public Health and came to Pillsbury with over 5 years’ experience in direct service with vulnerable populations, and even greater experience in community building.
